Maseru, Dec 07– Lesotho international Boitumelo “Queen” Rabale has been named among nominees for the HollywoodBets Super League Player of the Season award after playing an instrumental role to help Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies team to successfully defend their title.
According to the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati, Rabale won the award last season where she scored 24 goals and has followed it up with 21 goals this campaign to help ‘Banyana Ba Style’ as Sundowns Ladies to is affectionately known, to their third League title in a row since joining the club.
He said the Mehalalitoe captain has been in scintillating form throughout the campaign and recently scooped the CAF Women’s Champions Player of Tournament award, having scored important goals in both the semi-finals and the final to hand Sundowns their second continental title.
