Maseru, June 05 — Cold weather, persistent showers and muddy grounds did little to keep parents, relatives and members of the public away from the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) pass-out parade at Makoanyane Barracks today.
Wrapped in blankets, coats and rain jackets, spectators arrive early and endure the harsh winter conditions to witness a proud moment in the lives of their loved ones. Despite the wet and slippery conditions, the atmosphere remains vibrant as families gather to celebrate the graduation of 547 recruits.
The recruits march confidently across the muddy parade ground, demonstrating the discipline, endurance and resilience acquired during months of rigorous military training.
Their synchronised movements and sharp commands draw applause and admiration from the crowd.
