RAMOCHELE URGES TEACHERS TO CONSIDER EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 6 — Mrs. ‘Makopano Ramochele, District Resource Teacher for the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), encouraged Grade 10 students aspiring to become teachers to consider the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program due to the high demand for qualified professionals in this field.

She explained that the ECCD program offers qualifications ranging from certificates to Degrees at the Lesotho College of Education (LCE).

Her advice came during the handover of a M20,000 bursary from the Lesotho Association of Teachers (LAT) Qacha’s Nek branch, with support from the Ontario Teachers Federation (OTF) in Canada…
