SENATE ON SHORT ADJOURNMENT

Maseru, Nov. 07– The Senate has entered a short adjournment from Thursday, November 7, to November 19. This break will allow the College of Chiefs to attend a retreat aimed at addressing issues specifically concerning Chiefs and their role in governance.

The motion for adjournment was presented by the Minister of Education and Training, Professor Ntoi Rapapa, who emphasised the importance of the retreat.

He noted that the Chiefs need a dedicated space to deliberate on matters that directly impact their role in governance, including how they can better serve their communities. . .
