Maseru, Aug.04 — In a bid to promote access to health services, the Ministry of Health on Friday held a one day campaign to offer integrated health services to the community of Roma at Christ the King High School (CKHS) ground.
This is one of the campaigns that the ministry has been holding in different districts across the country since early this year.
The services include screening of cancer (prostrate, breast and cervical), TB, HIV, hypertension, diabetes and all OPD services. They are also screening ex-miners for TB and Silicosis and check their claims as there are some who have not been paid their provident fund. In his remarks, Maseru District Health Management Team (DHMT) Manager Dr. Moseme Makhele said that the aim of the Integrated Health Services programme is to prevent illnesses other than curing. . .
