BEREA – Week long free medical services have been provided to Ha Arone community by the AdventHealth,in partnership with Maluti Adventist Hospital.
According to the hospital’s Development Officer, Ms. Palesa Moorosi,the initiative marks the second outreach under this partnership, which takes place twice a year in March and October.
“The goal is to reach communities within the hospital’s service area and respond to their medical needs,” she said.


Ms. Moorosi added that the outreach initially focused on women’s health, but has since expanded to include water purification and broader community outreach efforts.
She emphasized that the strategy is ongoing and will evolve based on community needs.
The AdventHealth is a healthcare organization based in Florida Springs, United States of America. The collaboration with Maluti Adventist Hospital was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed in 2024.


A total of 22 representatives from AdventHealth participated in the outreach, which included visits to Popopo on Monday, Nokong on Tuesday, Ha-Korotsoana on Wednesday, Ha Arone on Thursday, and will conclude in Ha Mokhathi on Friday.
The medical services offered include ophthalmology, HIV/TB consultations, and support for general health concerns.
