Maseru, June. 13 — South African (SA) North West Health Department has revealed that end of June there will be a pauper burial to 25 unclaimed Stilfontein Shaft 11 illicit miners.
According to SA media platforms North West Health Department’s Spokesperson Tshegofatso Mothibedi stated that over 78 illegal miners deceased retrieved from disused shaft 11 in Stilfontein 30 of unclaimed bodies have been buried on Tuesday this week while 25 unidentified will be buried end of this month.
Furthermore Mothibedi indicated that subsequently to call on the nation to claim their missing loved ones and friends reciting in the North West Province to come and offer DNA samples for testing as result they manage to handover 25 bodies to the posetively matching samples.
Speaking to the Agency Lesotho Consulate General in Johannesburg SA, Mr. Khotso Ntomane emphasised that despite the ongoing illicit miners’s burials Lesotho government still open their doors to the relatives suspecting that their loved one are among Stilfontein tragety to perform DNA. . . .
