Mokhotlong, Feb. 29 — The Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP) II through the Department of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition has organised a market day for farmers to showcase their agricultural outputs in the district on March 15 this year.
The SADP II Project Officer in Mokhotlong Mr. Leqheku Letsoisa said the objective of the event is to link farmers with buyers with a view to find market for their agricultural produce in the district.
He said since farmers are encouraged to increase their agricultural produce, there is also a need to help them to find market for their products hence the upcoming event.
Mr. Letsoisa added that farmers are therefore expected to bring their agricultural products only for marketing purposes while the same platform will serve to create networks with buyers from all walks of life.
