OVC’s TO RECEIVE SCHOOL SHOES

Quthing, Feb. 29 — At least 40 orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC) from some schools in Quthing urban council will receive shoes at an event to be held at Liphakoe football ground in Upper Moyeni on Saturday this week.  

The school shoes and socks will be donated by the Financial Institution Group (FIG) Quthing to the students as part of supporting education initiatives in the district.

In an interview with the Agency, the FIG Quthing Secretary, Ms. ‘Mathabo Nts’etsi   said the school shoes and socks will be presented to 40 beneficiaries that include boys and girls of different from schools identified with the assistance of the district department of Education.
