Maseru, Nov. 15 — Motlalepula Sepipi, Community Councillor for Maseru City Council (MCC) 05, Stadium Area, has been re-elected as Mayor of MCC. The re-election took place during an event in Maseru on Friday.
Mr. Sepipi secured 12 votes, defeating his rival Mr. Relebohile Sechache, who garnered seven votes.
He will serve for a year, after which another election will be held to determine the next Mayor and Deputy Mayor. The responsibilities of the Mayor include overseeing government functions, supporting the City Council, and ensuring the city remains clean and well-managed. . .
