Maseru, Apr. 16 — Maseru Mall has been hit by a devastating hailstorm and heavy rains, resulting in severe damage including floods of water and roof collapse.
The aftermath has left shop owners struggling to recover from the extensive loss and destruction of property.
In an interview with agency Mrs. Tsepang Maphethe-Ketse, a front liner at Spec Savers, expressed deep concern over the tragedy that has befallen their shop. Having just recovered from a closure due to renovations, the hailstorm and heavy rains have dealt a severe blow to their business.
Mrs. Ketse estimated the damage caused by the storm to be around three hundred thousand.
