Mohale’s Hoek, Sept.25 — The officer commanding Correctional Services Senior Superintendent (Snr. Spt.) Letlaka Banyane, has pleaded with inmates to showcase their talents, so that they assist in developing their lives once they are released, to avoid coming back to prison.
Snr. Spt. Banyane stated this during the bicentennial celebrations, organised by the Crime Prevention and Reintegration Of Ex- Offenders, (CRROA), where the latter thanked the association for joining them in passing the message of hope to inmates, as the institutions could not be offended.
CRROA’s Executive Director Mr. Nkalimeng Mothobi stated that the aim of celebrating the 200 years with Correctional Services is for inmates, government and all associations to introspect and check any setbacks encountered along the journey, then ask for forgiveness from people whom they have offended. . . .
