SMD DONATES TO THE COUNCIL

Botha-Bothe, August 21 — In a notable display of community commitment, Storm Mountain Diamonds Mine (SMD) has generously donated 100 empty drums to serve as dust bins for the Botha-Bothe Urban Council.

The drums were given to the council on Monday this week.

In an interview with the Agency, Botha-Bothe Town Clerk, Mr. Thabiso Nchakha explained that the strategically placed drums will provide a convenient solution for passers-by, street vendors and residents to responsibly dispose of their waste.

He said the impact of the donation extends beyond waste management as it underscores the mine’s dedication to both environmental sustainability and the well-being of the community it serves.
