Maseru, Nov. 20– Mining experts and community leaders have been roped in to find a solution to the stalemate between law enforcement and illegal miners underground at an abandoned mine in Stilfontein, North West.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) still insist they will apprehend the illegal miners as soon as they resurface.
Rescue workers are currently trying to figure out the safety of the mine shaft, while plans to get cameras to capture the number of illegal miners are underway.
