Maseru, Jan. 06—Two years and seven months after the brutal murder of Kopano Makutoane who was a student at the National University of Lesotho (NUL), the suspects are back at work.
These police officers were on interdiction since 2022 and are now back at work.
Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli has confirmed that the officers are back in uniform as the investigations into Makutoane’s death have been completed.
‘’They were on interdiction so that they could not interfere with investigations, and now they are back as there are no investigations to interfere with ’’, Mopeli commented…
