Maseru, Aug. 21 — A global digital compact, science, technology and innovation came top of the agenda at the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) stakeholders consultation held at the UN house on Wednesday.
The consultation is meant to gather contributions to be articulated in the Prime Minister’s statement during the summit for the future to be held in New York next month.
Presenting on the thematic area above, the Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Information,Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation indicated the Ministry has adhered to the notion of digital transformation with digital literacy being on top.
Mr. Kanono Ramashamole stated to realise this, the Ministry has developed digital transformation strategy with the aim to enhance speed as well as coordinated efforts.
