THE USE OF APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY GOES A LONG WAY-MOLETSANE

Mohale’s Hoek, Sept.15- The deputy Secretary from Draai Hoek Village Disaster Management Team, (VDMT) Ms. Mpinane Moletsane says the appropriate use of terminology is essential in disseminating clear and accurate communication, especially when dealing with issues of Climate Change.

Ms. Moletsane stated this during the 5 day training held for the VDMT by the District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) aimed at capacitating committees on issues of resilience and adaptation, by stating that climate change has forced them to change their mind and work jointly to develop their communities, noting the objective is to remind them of their roles as committee members, stating it is her wish that such refresher trainings be held twice a year to keep them informed on adaptation and resilience issues.
