TJEKA-TJEKA REWARDS LIOLI HIGH SCHOOL BEST PERFORMER

Berea, Jan 21 — In a bid to cultivate culture of excellence among the students, Tjeka-Tjeka Aluminium Works has on Tuesday handed over a M1000,00 cheque to Rethabile Kibiti of Lioli high school as one of the best performing student in the Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education (LGCSE) 2024 results. 

Rethabile Kibiti is among the students who emerged victorious in LGCSE 2024 results after obtaining at least two A* in Accounting and Physical Science, three As on English language, Sesotho and Mathematics and two B’s Biology and Geography respectively. 

When approached for a comment, Tjeka-Tjeka Aluminium Works Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Thakeli Ts’olo said as one of the growing companies, they believe in hard work and excellence, hence the initiative to recognize Lioli High School top achiever. 

“Despite the district’s low pass rate, excellence should be awarded and best performers need to be rewarded for motivation”, he said. 

Mr. Ts’olo further said as a business, they get most of the support from the community, hence the significance of ploughing back to the community as part of the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategies. . .
