TRUMP SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDERS HOURS AFTER INAUGURATION

Maseru, Jan. 21 — Just a few hours after he was sworn-in for his second term as President of
the United States of America (USA), Mr. Donald Trump has signed a string of executive
powers.

The newly sworn-in President has among other things ordered that the US be pulled out of
the World Health Organisation (WHO) for what he said was mishandling of global crises
such as Covid-19.

This is the second time that President Trump pulls the US out of the WHO and the first time
former President Joe Biden managed to review and reverse the decision.
Mr. Trump also claims that WHO failed to adopt urgently needed reforms, further failing to
show independence from the political influence, and unfairly burdensome payments that the
US made to the organisation.
