UGANDA, NEW ZEALAND PRESENT CREDENTIALS

Maseru, Aug 30 – The High Commissioners of Uganda, Mr. Paul Amaru and Dr. Rebecca Dunlop-Bennett presented letters of credence to King Letsie III at the Royal Palace, Maseru on Wednesday.

In his welcoming speech, the King said both Lesotho and Uganda face consequences of wars and conflicts in the African Continent and beyond, adding the devastation caused by Covid-19 have also had a negative impact on the livelihoods of the people.

Therefore, he called for cooperation which he said the pair must be more closely and share ideas on how best to lift these countries economically.
