Maseru, Aug.04 – The United Nations (UN) agencies high-level delegation paid a courtesy call on the Head of State, King Letsie III as well as on Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane on Sunday.
They are World Food Programme (WFP), Assistance Executive Director Valerie Guarnieri and IFAD Associate Vice President Donal Brown. It is also expected that Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) Director-General QU Dongyu is in the country.
Upon arrival at the State House, the Agency interviewed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane who affirmed that the UN entourage is in Lesotho on the invitation of King, who serves as FAO Special Goodwill Ambassador. . .
