URGENT CALL FOR WATER ASSESSMENT IN QACHA’S NEK 

Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 21 – The water crisis gripping Qacha’s Nek has escalated, prompting local authorities to launch a critical water assessment. 

In an interview with the Agency, Mrs. ‘Mats’itso Motemekoane, Disaster Manager at the Qacha’s Nek Disaster Management Authority (DMA), stressed that the ongoing water shortages and rationing in several areas demand immediate action.

Villages such as Sehlabathebe, Matebeng, Ha Noosi, Qhoalinyane, Tebellong, and the Urban Council are enduring  water scarcity, with some areas facing contaminated water supplies…
