Qacha’s Nek, Aug.25 — Hundred and one primary schools in Qacha’s Nek have today received 400 shoes and socks from the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation.

Vodacom Lesotho has also provided high schools with sanitary towels as part of its corporate social responsibility.

This follows a request from the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to assist vulnerable children.

The District Education Manager (DEM) Mr. Lebenya Mothibeli said there is a dire need for uniform in schools due to vulnerability hence they ensured that four pupils in all the schools benefited from the initiative.
