WATER IN ABUNDANCE AT HA LANGAU – LETSIE

Mohale’s Hoek, July. 11 – The Area Chief of Tlaling Ha Lengau says the village has water in abundance although they have inaccessible roads and no electricity.

She said this in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday  during a media tour. She was talking about services  available in this area, where people walk  40 kilometres from the main road to the village.

Chieftainess ‘Matikoe Letsie stated that even though they have access to water, the society is left behind as they walk long distances by foot to come to the village, adding they are also unaware about issues happening around them as they dont have electricity.

She appealed to  authorities to consider them and address their needs, adding that while they have a clinic in the area, the society is in dire need of other  services.

Meanwhile, some villagers in this area indicated that  they have for many years now been voting as they were promised electricity and roads amongst others.
