WHEAT HARVESTING COMMENCES

Maseru, Jan. 19 — Wheat harvesting at government blocks has started in some areas and is running smoothly.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Chief Information officer Mr. Lereko Masupha, the harvest is currently taking place in Mafeteng at Bolumatau and is due to commence at Kolonyama Ha Manama and Maseru Ha Ratau.

He said it was unable to take place at Ha Maoela In Mafeteng because fields were muddy but will start as soon as fields are dry, warning farmers that it will stop when rain fails but re-start when combines are able to harvest. . .
