FARMERS RECEIVE DAIRY COWS

Maseru, Jan. 23 – In a bid to motivate farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition through the Smallholder Agriculture Development Project II (SADP II) bought 47 dairy cows (Jersey and Friesian) for 21 farmers.

According to the Ministrys’ Principal Livestock Development Officer-Cattle Mr. Abisi Alotsi, the cattle were bought in South Africa and arrived in the country last week Friday, saying they were given to farmers who asked for grants from SADP…
