WITNESS INSISTS HE REFUSED TO IMPLICATE POLITICIANS

Maseru, Mar.14— A first defence witness in a trial within trial in the ongoing Mohale Dam Murder Trial Murder, Brigadier Rapele Mphaki, has on Thursday, during cross examination, insisted that he refused to implicate  Mothetjoa Metsing and Tseliso Mokhosi.

He had in his evidence in chief testified that the police had during interrogations told him to state that the two politicians (Metsing and Mokhosi) had lent them a vehicle used to carry the bodies of the deceased in the matter to Ha Mohale. He had stated that they told him that if he helped them implicate the duo, he would have saved his benefits within the Lesotho Defense Force (LDF)adding that he would be immediately released…
