WVL SENSITIZE DDMT ON ECHO PHASE IV PROJECT 

Leribe, Sept. 26 — With the purpose of overcoming disasters in Leribe district, World Vision Lesotho in collaboration with Disaster Management Authority (DMA) is holding a one-day workshop at Hlotse in Leribe on introducing ECHO Project Phase IV. 

Speaking at the workshop, the ECHO Project Phase IV Project Officer Ms. ‘Matente Ramakhula said the project goal is strengthening and consolidating national and community capacities for the effective disaster preparedness and response in Lesotho.

In addition, she explained that the project has five results which should be attained in 2024.

Mentioning two of the results, the project officer elaborated that one is strengthened logistics preparedness capacities of local institutions through strategic emergency stockpiling and management.
