Mokhotlong, Sept. 02 — Youth Club Leaders at Sekonyela High School are adamant this Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP) component has boosted their morale.
Upon arrival at the school reported to be having about 400 learners, Kanetso Lesoetsa, grade 10 learner from Makhomalong village said the club has provided them with communication skills that include managing anger as well as how to deal with other peers.
She added that prior to joining this club supported financially by the World Bank through Ministries of Education and Training (MoET) and Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development, she could not hold her emotions, making it difficult to deal with her peers.
“Prior to these clubs, I could not control my emotions especially when it comes to anger, thus making it difficult to deal with other learners. Having learnt anger management skills in these clubs has enabled me to deal with matters amicably,” she stressed.
