YOUTH URGED TO WIDEN CREATIVE INDUSTRY SCOPE

MASERU – Local youth have a lot to offer in the creative and arts industry, for growth and development of their own talents as well as for promoting economic growth in the country.

Ms. Mpho Letima who is known locally for her passion in the creative industry, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, GEM Institute indicated today’s rapid changing technologies offers youth vast opportunities.

“These are the people with skills and brains who have all it takes to change the narrative, particularly at this time when unemployment amongst this group has been declared a state of emergency in the country.” She stressed.

Meanwhile, she talked to the content youth produce nowadays through different platforms highlighting that the creative and arts industry has potential of creating more and more jobs in different parts of the country. . . .
