RAPAPA OFFICIATES LCS PASS-OUT

Maseru, Apr. 26 — Professor Ntoi Rapapa as Acting Prime Minister on Friday officiated the pass-out of 191 Lesotho  Correctional Service (LCS) recruits at Masheshena playground in Maseru.

Initially the recruits were 197 but six were released due to illness. Out of the 197, 125 were males while 72 were females. The training started in July 2023.

In his remarks, Prof. Rapapa said that it is a big day to officiate the pass-out of the nine months training which was reported to have not been easy.

He said that Correctional Institutions have challenges which include among others infrastructure, resources like vehicles, uniform, and other basic needs for day to day running of Correctional Services.
