The Officer Commanding Mabote Police Station Superintendent Mokete Matseletsele told the Agency in an interview that they will stage youth soccer tournaments at Khubetsoana and Mats’eng, Ha foso in a bid to motivate youth and sensitize them about crime and its negative impacts.

He added that they will have temporary police satellites at Motimposo as it is one of crime hotspots, pledging to ensure safety of the public over the holidays.

“We are also continuing to arrest liquor store owners who trade illegally and sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18” he added, saying such owners are even taken to courts of law. LR/TL
