US EMBASSY LESOTHO SAYS ITS BUSINESS AS USUAL

Maseru, Apr. 17—The American Embassy Lesotho says operations are continuing as normal following allegations that it is among the 10 missions that face closure, following executive decisions made by President of the United States (UN) Donald Trump.

Here is the Embassy’s official comment:  

‘’No embassy or consulate closures have been announced, and operations continue as normal’’.

Reports show that the office of the US Under Secretary Management is part of the plan to reduce the budget by 50 percent and the countries that are likely to be affected are Lesotho, Eritrea, Grenada, the Central African Republic, Luxembourg, the Republic of Congo, Gambia, South Sudan, Malta and Maldives…PM/BM
