Mohale’s Hoek, Sept.19 — The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Small Business Development has held a workshop for business community from various sectors, aimed at creating awareness regarding the Lesotho Enterprise Assistance Programme, (LEAP) and the Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI).
According to the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer Ms. Lihaelo Nkaota, Basotho’s businesses face challenges from entry to thriving levels, making it harder to easily access the markets either locally or abroad.
Ms. Nkaota articulated that to address an issue of Basotho’s products being doubted by markets for human consumption, the Lesotho Standard Institution will assist in ensuring that products meet required standards, depending on where such a business sector would like to export their products to. . .
