Botha-Bothe, July 25 — Tefu Mathule aged 36 of Ha Chaba now staying at Makopo has appeared today before Magistrate Relebohile Khongoana at Botha-Bothe Magistrate court on account of rape.
Mathule is charged with contravening the provisions of Section 15(1) (a) of Sexual Offences Act No. 3 of 2003. On July 22, 2023, at Makopo the accused sexually assaulted a 16-year old disabled girl.
The accused has been denied bail until he moves from the rented flat as he stays in the same place as the complainant. The accused will remain in police custody and appear on August 08, 2023. . . .
