Mokhotlong, April 22 — The International Women Peace Group (IWPG) proclaimed and commemorated April 26 as the International Women’s Peace Day to achieve ‘Cessation of war and world peace.
This is done by uniting women worldwide who have the motherly heart to protect the lives of children, the IWPG Lesotho Committee Chairperson Mrs. ‘Malejaka Letooane has said.
She said the purpose of commemorating the day is to encourage women peace activists across the borders, race, religions and ideology who are actively supporting peace and to inspire hope that more women will join the movement… MU/BM
