ARMED ROBBER SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON

Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 12 — Ts’epang Ranthokolo 30, was sentenced to 10 years in prison without an option of a fine for armed robbery.

The verdict was delivered by Senior Magistrate Ts’eliso Bale at the Qacha’s Nek Magistrate Court.

The incident occurred on December 8, 2024 at Motse-Mocha, when Ranthokolo threatened 25 year-old Reitumetse Kao at knife-point around 1 am.

He forced the victim to hand over his clothes and M426 in cash. After the robbery, Ranthokolo ordered Kao to walk naked in the area.
