BOMBINGS TRIAL RESUMES

Maseru, Oct.27— A case in which Former Commander of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Tlali Kamoli and four army members are accused of the bombings that occurred in 2014, has on Monday resumed before the High Court.

The prosecution in this matter led evidence from Inspector Limpho Mahloane who testified that while on duty with Inspector Libeso, at Moshoeshoe II, the home of Liabiloe Ramoholi there was a huge sound followed by a gun report  and an automatic motion.

He stated that he then called Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Loke who headed the Special Operations Unit. He indicated that ACP loke arrived with other police officers adding that the crime scene was inspected.

Kamoli is charged together with Pisto Ramoepane, Litekanyo Nyakane, Mohlalefi Seitlheko and Heqoa Malefane. The charges they are facing comprise attempted murder and malicious damage to property. 

The bombings occurred at the homes of Maesiah Thabane the then Liabiloe Ramoholi at Moshoeshoe II and Former Commissioner of Police Khothatso Tsooana at Ha-Abia in 2014.  

The case is before Judge Charles Hungwe.
