CBCPF COMPLETES HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Qwaqwa, Aug.30–The Cross Border Crime Prevention Forum (CBCPF) together with its  multi-sectoral stake holders have completed its 3-day human trafficking awareness campaign in Phuthaditjaba, Qwaqwa on Wednesday.

This campaign resumed on Monday in Ladybrand and moved to Ficksburg as those were the areas identified as hotspot areas of human trafficking.

At this event, on behalf of the community Reverend (Rev.) Reuben Sooka showed that in their area they are faced with a challenge of substance abuse especially in youth which he showed that substance abuse also opens youth to being victims of human trafficking
