Mokhotlong, Nov. 10 — The Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL) conducted a seminar on new Investor Portal Rollout and Financial Education in Mokhotlong on Monday.
The CBL Investor Portal Project Manager Mr. Tjoetsane Nthontho who is also a Senior Capital Markets Analyst said investors are encouraged to use the portal to register when they want to invest with CBL.
He said the Investor Portal is currently catering for individuals to register online while companies and groups of people are still expected to approach the Bank physically for registration.
Mr. Nthontho explained that it has been designed to address travel expenses from Mokhotlong to CBL premises in Maseru adding that the idea of developing the Investor Portal came up during the COVID-19 era.
