Mohale’s Hoek, Jan.22 — The area Chief of Ponts’eng ‘Mamohale Mohale has applauded the member of Parliament for Mpharane No. 60, Mr. Nku Mohlalisi, following a public gathering at Ha- Phala, aimed at bringing services closer to the communities.
Mrs. Mohale who indicated that multitudes of villagers attended the gathering, stated this in an interview with the Agency by asserting that villagers are struggling to have national documents because they do not have money to travel long distances from Mpharane to access services in town, and pleaded with MP to carry out this initiative twice or thrice a year.
On the other hand, Mr. Mohlalisi stated that the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police offered services like birth certificate registration, while others applied for Identity documents, noting the Blood Bank also mobilized communities about the significance of donating blood. . .
