Mokhotlong Sept.27 — Child protection is a multisectoral task to ensure all children are protected and served without any discrimination.
Ms. Boitumelo Mofolo from the Child Protection Services Unit in the Ministry Social Development said this when addressing members of the District Child Protection Team (DCPT) in Mokhotlong at a two-day refresher training held in the district starting since Tuesday.
Ms. Mofolo reminded the team that child protection is all about prevention adding that the mandate of the team is to coordinate efforts, processes and systems implemented towards the best interest of the child.
