CHILD PROTECTION TEAM IN CAMPAIGNS TO END GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

Berea, Aug 29 – In a fight against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC), District Child Protection Team (DCPT) Berea has organised a 10km march targeting different places of Sefikeng on Friday this week.

According to DCPT Berea Secretariat Ms. Hape Ntili the march is set to run under a theme, “Stop Gender Based Violence” in a bid to raise public awareness about the negative impacts of GBV and VAC in society.

Ms. Ntili said given the high rate of GBV and VAC cases, the district has turned to be dangerous place for everyone and they saw a need to stand in solidarity to end the harrowing attacks and brutal killings of women and children.
