Maseru, July 15 — The United Kingdom Anglican Church together with the locals will hold 200 years commemoration event marking the existence of the Basotho nation on August 15.
Anglican Church of Lesotho (ACL) Bishop, Dr. Vicentia Kgabe will lead the event in a form of a mass service, the Dean of St. Mary and St. James Cathedral Reverend Ralebakeng Ramabanta has said.
According to the Reverend, relations between Lesotho and the UK, particularly in the area of the church, come a long way hence even the UK High Commissioner is expected to partake in this activity.
He urged Anglicans and the rest of the society to prepare fully ahead of the big day as the church will be hosting United Kingdom guests.
