CLASH OVER GRAZING LAND

Qacha’s Nek, April 22 — The clash over grazing land continues at Qacha’s Nek, Tsoelike between the two neighboring villages of Auplaas and Ha Ratsholeli during a gathering called by the Principal Chief Mojela Theko Makhaola, following the request from Auplaas community.

Moreover, the Auplaas community urged the Ha Ratsholeli community to allow them to graze their flock and cattle at Ratsholeli grazing area.

That they have been doing this since long time ago. Ratsholeli community denies them this opportunity stating this is going to cause blood feud. A community member Mr Tsibela Ratsholeli stated.

“This is not going to end well because there is no way we will be sharing grazing land with those people. Each village has it’s own land so why now,” said Mr Ratsholeli. SM/TL
