FINANCIAL EDUCATION SAVES LIVES – PSYCHOLOGIST

Maseru, April 21 — Financial education plays a critical role in saving and protecting psychological wellbeing of individuals, a local Psychologist Mr. Mohau Mosoeunyane has said.

This after the 2025/2026 Fiscal Year budget has called Basotho to pay attention to this concept, possess skills, knowledge and behaviours that would allow individuals to make informed decisions regarding money.

According to Mr. Mosoeunyane, who is also founder of MSM Motivation Training and Counseling Services mentioned that the current economic meltdown along with other life challenges forces individuals to make wise decisions when it comes to use of money.

“Unless one’s psychosocial well-being is strengthened and equipped in a way that enables them to make wise decisions, the mental capacity becomes prone to this effect,” he stressed. AM/TL
