MASERU — The Lesotho College of Education (LCE) Chair Lady of the Council, Mrs. Keratile Thabana congratulated college graduates during the 30th graduation ceremony held in Maseru on Thursday.
The ceremony graced by the presence of Education Minister and Training (MoET), Professor Ntoi Rapapa saw 1349 graduates being conferred Certificates and Diplomas.
In her address, the Chair Lady urged graduates to go and teach not to cheat children, as such is the core mandate of the college, especially at this time when LCE celebrates 50 years of it’s existence.
“Our college is relevant in the next 50 years as it moulds teachers to build foundation among children at an early stage while adapting to life challenges.” She stressed.

She appealed to the government to consider continuing students further as they enrol on degree programmes offered by the institution.
Similarly, the Acting Rector, Ms. Nthabiseng Mobe said this is culmination of hard work, perseverance and a historic milestone to LCE, families and graduates.
“Today we also offer degree programmes in line with the demands of the 21st century and such is milestone to be proud of,” she stressed.
One of the graduates Mike Ralethoko thanked God, families and Lecturers for extending their support to them, indicating graduation is a collaboration efforts. . .
