Thaba Tseka May 20 — Thaba Tseka communities have applauded Paray School of Nursing over the simulation conducted in collaboration with the Lesotho Mounted Police and the completing students.
This, they stated following the emergency simulation conducted by the school and learners which attracted many residents who were not even aware it was a simulation. Some had stated the importance of training the community to know about first aid after attending the scene.
Speaking with the School Clinical Instructor Mrs. Rehabilitation Seturumane, the simulation is conducted every year for the third year Diploma in Nursing studentsfinal year at different spots.
She the purpose is to see if the students will be able to practice what they learnt as theory and practicals while placed in different hospitals such as ‘Mamohato memorial and Paray Hospitals.
