COURT REFUSES TO HEAR APPLICATION 

Maseru, Feb. 11 — The High Court through Justice Maliepollo Makhetha has refused to entertain an application for withdrawal in a treason trial which has been filed by prosecution lawyers Advocate Motene Rafoneke and Rethabile Setlojoane. 

The court stated that it will not hear an application which has been scheduled to be moved on February 27, 2025 as per directives. 

  This was Adv. Setlojoane requested the court to grant them leave to shorten the dates and the application be heard. 

Advocates Setlojoane and Rafoneke have declined to proceed with the case indicating that they do not have a brief. They insisted that they will not represent a client whom they are not on good terms with.
