Qacha’s Nek, Sept. 28 — The cleaning campaign committee has announced October 6 as the day for the national Operation Hloekisa Lesotho cleaning campaign.
The announcement follows the postponement of the campaign which was made by Heads of Departments (HODs) on August 25 after the revelation by the District Administrator (DA) Mr. Mantsi Ts’eane that there are no cleaning materials such as gloves and masks.
In an interview with the Agency, Mr. Ts’eane said cleaning will not resume tomorrow as local government election polling day has been officially declared as a public holiday.
